The opportunity to sign up for ACSOL CA Lobby Day 2024 will end on Friday, Feb. 23, so that enough materials for participants will be available on Lobby Day which will take place on Wednesday, March 6.  The end of sign ups will also guarantee that there is enough seating and refreshments for all.

“More than 50 people have signed up for Lobby Day and together we will deliver the messages that need to be delivered to the legislature,” stated ACSOL Executive Director Janice Bellucci.  “All of those messages will be focused upon necessary changes to the Tiered Registry Law in order to increase the number of people eligible to petition for removal from the registry.”

Lobby Day will be held on Wednesday, March 6, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 1209 L Street, in Sacramento.  The day will begin at 9 a.m. with training followed by a free lunch and then meetings held in the state legislature.  Participants will join teams led by individuals who have previously participated in one or more Lobby Days.

Parking is available at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and those who park at the hotel will be provided validation stickers by ACSOL.  An informal reception will be held at the hotel at about 5 p.m.

Ready to educate a few lawmakers with info, statistics and personal stories again! And once again, the feeling of making a difference and standing up for your rights is unparalleled! See you in Sac!

I am so happy to see you all getting together to lobby for those on the registry’s rights! I so hope that I can one day get off the registry.

I’ve been on the SVOR Registry (off and on) since 1982. I am currently awaiting judicial.
resolve for evading SVOR for 30 years! I have not been to court yet but I wanted to say
something before I am locked up – – even though I have not committed a crime or a misdemeanor.
in 42 years!
I was not evading the SVOR Registry, rather I was evading the State Sponsored Hate Crimes committed against SVOR Registrants, that no one talks about or admits to. I was kicked out of the
Catholic Church because of the SVOR Registry. I was ran off the road and terrorized by 2 adult
males (one had a handgun) and was told that they had daughters and did not want me within 1,000
yards of their houses or family. Then I moved 150 miles away. Got kicked out of the Catholic Church there as well. A neighbor who lived a mile up the mountain from me came to my house with a handgun and told me that he had a 4 yr old son and he would kill me if I was ever caught anywhere
near him or his family. My son was in the Army and left his new truck at our house while he was deployed overseas. That same man set fire to my son’s truck! Then he broke into our house on three (3) separate occasions and left sick and threatening notes. My wife was traumatized, so we made
the mistake of moving from Montana to Florida. (did not do my homework) We bought a condo in a 55 and Over Condo Complex. I was forced to do the SVOR Registry in Florida. Immediately the Condo posted my picture in the Commons Bldg with a note saying I was a [Person Forced to Register] and not allowed around the pool area or the playground and if I was spotted there to call Condo Secuity
immediately. We had raw eggs thrown on our vehicles and from door. Nasty graffiti spray painted on
our courtyard wall. We decided to leave the country. We had Passports. I signed out in Florida and
promptly moved to the Ukraine in 2006. I got a job teaching English at the Vinnytsia Business Tech
University. After 18 months we moved to Chisinau, Moldova and I got a english teaching job there
at the Technical University of Moldova. From there we moved to Bucharest, Romania where I was the English speaking tour guide for English speaking visitors touring Ceausescu’s Palace (the
former Communist dictator). My wife needed surgery so we flew back to Montana. We took our RV
out of storage because my wife needed 3-6 months of Physical Therapy. We lived in a campground
where I was offered a job as Host. We moved from Campground to Campground for 10 years. I
never had a complaint filed against me and no crimes.
My wife passed away in 2012 and I kept bouncing around from Campground to Campground. I
finally sold everything and paid cash for a new home in Montana, then I remarried.
Three (3) weeks ago I got Swat Teamed in the dark of night and served a Subpoena charging me with a felony – – failure to register as a [person] convicted [of a sexual offense]. I go to court March 11th. I’m 76
years old and lived 42 years crime free, yet I feel as though the state will throw the book at me. I
will never get to explain the State Sponsored Hare Crimes committed again me. others must
have similar experience. I caught a 60 yr old man painting “Chester the Molester” on my condo
wall and I asked my “why”. He said he was molested as a boy and it ruined his life. I told him that was not me and he said he hated me anyway. People who were molested or raped come out of the
woodwork to torment and persecute people on the SVOR Registry. Those people, driven by
hate are never charged. While evading the registry I got my self esteem and self worth back. I
had value reinstated in my human self. I loved life without that 800 lb gorilla on my back. The registry is designed to extend your punishment. I call it Cyber Prison which is worse that brick
and steel prison. No one put a hand on me in prison.
Just something for you guys to think about.
Clark

I signed up, but did not get a confirmation email. Should I expect one? I signed up on Feb 23rd.

If we cannot make lobby day, is there anything we can do to contribute? I do not know if writing a statement of my experience with my husband who is on the registry does anything? Really want to go, I just can’t take off work.
